Amperometric detectors are an alternative to conductivity and UV/VIS detectors. They are used when electroactive – i.e. oxidizable or reducible – substances are to be determined. The amperometric detector exists as an embedded detector – the IC Amperometric Detector – and as a stand-alone detector – the 945 Professional Detector Vario.
